The Fish Weight has sat on the pass at Saint Peter for ten years, and it is the thing Josh gives to the cooks, suppliers and friends he works with because it gets used every day and lasts for good. If you are gifting a team, your clients or the people who cook for you, we can engrave each one, pack them individually with a note from you and send them to one address or to fifty.

What you can gift

  • The Fish Weight. Solid 304 stainless steel, 1.6kg, dishwasher safe, in Silver, Copper, Black, Rose Gold, Gold, Rainbow and now Bronze. Designed by Josh Niland and tested in commercial kitchens for a decade.
  • The Fish Pan. Cast iron, made in Sydney at Ajax Foundry, a family-owned business that has been casting for more than eighty years.
  • The Saint Peter Bundle. A signed copy of Josh's book with a Fish Weight, Chef's Tweezers and a tote, boxed as a set.
  • Josh's books. The Whole Fish Cookbook, Take One Fish, Fish Butchery and Saint Peter: Chapter & Verse, signed on request.

Engraving

Fish Weights and Fish Pans are engraved by our team at our Crows Nest studio, so a company logo, a name or a short message goes directly onto the steel rather than onto a card that gets thrown away. We send you a proof before anything is engraved. Engraving is available for Australian deliveries.

Discounts apply across the range and can be mixed, so an order of thirty could be twenty Fish Weights and ten Fish Pans. Shipping is quoted separately for multi-address orders.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you would like to gift, how many, whether you want engraving and when it needs to arrive.
  2. We come back within two business days with a quote and, if you are engraving, a proof.
  3. You approve and pay, and send us the recipient list if the gifts are going to more than one address.
  4. We engrave, pack each gift with your note and dispatch, with tracking sent to you for every parcel.

Christmas 2026

Engraved orders need to be confirmed by Friday 14 November and plain orders by Friday 5 December for delivery before Christmas within Australia. International orders need an extra two weeks.
