Saint Peter 10th Anniversary Grand Prize Promotion — Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter

The Promoter is Mr Niland Pty Ltd (ABN 66 633 716 533), 161 Underwood Street, Paddington NSW 2021 ("the Promoter"). Contact: hello@mrniland.com.

2. The Promotion

The promotion is the "Saint Peter 10th Anniversary Grand Prize Promotion" ("the Promotion"). The Promotion is a trade promotion conducted in connection with the pre-order campaign for the book Saint Peter: Chapter & Verse by Josh Niland, published by Hardie Grant Books and released 1 September 2026. Entry to the prize draw requires proof of purchase of a pre-order for a copy of Saint Peter: Chapter & Verse by Josh Niland (see clause 5).

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion opens at 9:00am AEST on 22 June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 15 August 2026 ("the Promotion Period"). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

4. Eligibility

The draw is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. The Crisp Skin masterclass gift (clause 11) is available worldwide and has no age restriction beyond compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter, Hardie Grant Books, Audi Australia, and any agency directly associated with the Promotion are ineligible to win the draw prize.

5. How to Enter

Pre-order a copy of Saint Peter: Chapter & Verse from any participating Australian bookseller (including Booktopia, Dymocks, Readings, Amazon, QBD, and participating independents) during the Promotion Period. Upload a clear screenshot, PDF, or email confirmation showing proof of payment at the entry page, together with your full name, email address, and phone number.

Proof of payment is mandatory. An entry will not be accepted without it.

Entry limit: One (1) entry per person, regardless of the number of copies pre-ordered or the number of receipts submitted. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entrants who use multiple email addresses or identities in an attempt to circumvent this limit.

6. Verification and Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entry that, in the Promoter's reasonable opinion:

  • contains incomplete, illegible, duplicated, or fraudulent information;
  • uses multiple identities, addresses, or accounts to circumvent the entry limit; or
  • otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions.

Proof of payment is accepted on its face. The Promoter is not required to verify any pre-order with a bookseller, but may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes to be invalid and select a further entrant in place of a disqualified entrant.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, damaged, or misdirected by technical failure.

7. The Draw

One (1) winner will be selected by random electronic draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

The draw will take place at 161 Underwood Street, Paddington NSW 2021 at 2:00pm AEST on 22 August 2026.

8. The Prize

The prize is the Saint Peter 10th Anniversary Grand Prize. The total prize pool is valued at AUD $2,780 and comprises:

  • One (1) night's accommodation in a King Suite for two (2) adults at The Grand National by Saint Peter, Paddington, on a date mutually agreed between the winner and the Promoter, subject to availability and within twelve (12) months of the draw date. Valued at AUD $715.
  • A tasting menu for two (2) adults at Saint Peter with matched Australian wine pairing, on a date mutually agreed between the winner and the Promoter, subject to availability and within twelve (12) months of the draw date. Valued at AUD $1,200.
  • One (1) Silver Fish Weight by Saint Peter. Valued at AUD $165.
  • The Whole Fish Collection, comprising Josh Niland's first three books (The Whole Fish Cookbook, Take One Fish, and Fish Butchery). Valued at AUD $200.
  • Chauffeured return transfers by Audi between the winner's address or airport and Saint Peter, up to a distance of 30 kilometres each way. Valued at AUD $500.

Unless otherwise agreed with the Promoter, the accommodation and the tasting menu are to be taken on the same date, the Silver Fish Weight and The Whole Fish Collection will be provided to the winner during their stay, and the chauffeured Audi transfers are for use in connection with the prize stay and dinner.

The winner must give the Promoter at least twenty (20) business days' notice of their preferred prize dates, so that the accommodation, the dining at Saint Peter, and the Audi chauffeured transfers can be arranged. All prize dates are subject to availability and to mutual agreement between the winner, the Promoter, and Audi Australia.

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any element of the prize for an element of equal or greater value where the original element becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control. The prize must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of the draw date or it will be forfeited.

Travel to and from Sydney for any element of the prize, beyond the chauffeured transfers expressly listed above, is the responsibility of the winner. The prize does not include any additional meals, beverages, incidentals, gratuities, GST, or expenses beyond those expressly listed above.

9. Winner Notification

The winner will be notified by email and telephone within five (5) business days of the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not confirm acceptance of the prize, within fourteen (14) days of the draw, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to the NSW Community Gaming Regulation 2020) to redraw the prize and select an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries.

The winner's first name, last initial, and state of residence will be published on the Saint Peter website and social media channels within seven (7) days of the draw.

10. Use of Winner's Name and Image

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity surrounding the Promotion and grants the Promoter permission to use the winner's first name, last initial, state of residence, and any photographs taken in connection with the prize for promotional purposes for a period of twelve (12) months from the draw date, without further compensation.

11. The Gift — Crisp Skin Masterclass

Every entrant who submits a valid pre-order proof of payment will receive a complimentary link to Crisp Skin, a video masterclass by Josh Niland filmed at Saint Peter. The link is delivered automatically in the confirmation email sent to the email address provided at entry. The masterclass is provided whether or not the entrant opts in to marketing communications, and opting in is not a condition of receiving it.

The masterclass is provided as a free gift and does not form part of the Saint Peter 10th Anniversary Grand Prize prize pool. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the format, delivery method, or content of Crisp Skin without notice. The gift has no cash value and is non-transferable.

12. Privacy

By entering, entrants agree that their personal information (full name, email address, phone number where provided, and pre-order proof of payment where uploaded) may be collected, stored, and used by the Promoter in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Promoter's Privacy Policy at www.mrniland.com/pages/privacypolicygiveaway.

The entry form includes three optional marketing opt-ins. By ticking the first, entrants consent to receive marketing communications from Saint Peter and Mr Niland under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). By ticking the second, entrants consent to the Promoter sharing their name and email address with Audi Australia so that Audi Australia may send them marketing communications, which Audi Australia handles under its own privacy policy. By ticking the third, entrants consent to the Promoter sharing their name and email address with Hardie Grant Publishing (HGP) so that HGP may send them marketing communications, which HGP handles under its own privacy policy. These opt-ins are optional, and none is a condition of entering the draw or receiving the masterclass. Entrants may unsubscribe from them at any time via the unsubscribe link in the relevant emails.

Other than the marketing sharing described above where the entrant has opted in, personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to administer the Promotion, including with Hardie Grant Books and the prize delivery partners named in clause 8 (including Audi Australia for arranging the chauffeured transfers).

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its officers, employees, agents, and associated parties exclude all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Promotion or use of any prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights that an entrant has under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

14. General

The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to disqualify any entrant or winner who is found to have breached these Terms, tampered with the entry process, engaged in fraudulent or misleading conduct, or whose conduct is otherwise contrary to the spirit of the Promotion.

If the Promotion cannot be conducted as planned due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control (including but not limited to technical failure, force majeure, or supply chain disruption), the Promoter reserves the right, subject to any applicable law and any written directions from NSW Fair Trading, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

15. Instagram and Social Media

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, Facebook, or any other social media platform. By entering, entrants release Instagram, Meta, and Facebook from all liability arising from the Promotion.
